For the past 14 years Karine has been serving on boards of non-profits and has been supporting the below foundations in their fundraising efforts and advising them on their strategy, marketing, communication as well as on the implementation of their programs.

• NaanKuSe in Namibia provides education and health programs for the San/Bushmen community and runs a wildlife research sanctuary and a carnivore research program;
• Amics de Nepal supports several orphanages and provides literacy classes for women in Kathmandu;
• Shamrock provides education at their boarding school in Pokhara, Nepal;
• Yamuna in Madagascar provides education at several schools, and, in their women cooperative, provides classes in entrepreneurship and women’s empowerment;
• Juanfe in Colombia provides education and professional training for teenage mothers in Cartagena and in Medellin, also teaching them about women’s empowerment and entrepreneurship;
• Angeles de Amor provides a foster home for 30 girls, supporting them with nutrition, health, and education programs in Colombia;
• Bacaanda provides educational support for rural schools in Oaxaca, Mexico.
